I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to be sharing these photos with you. These are from my first shoot, my first baby. I conceived the ideas for the design and florals in my head, hoping and praying that somehow, what came out in real life would look just as wonderful.
This shoot is also special to me, besides the fact that it was my first, because we had the honor to be featured on Style Me Pretty Georgia. My heart started pounding when I read the email from SMP, and at the time of the launch, it pounded even harder.
I wrote a while back about how meaningful planning and designing this shoot was, but also how scary. Once you put your work there, as an artist you make yourself vulnerable—to love, criticism, and every possible reaction in between. Creativity takes courage, my friends, and that’s something I don’t have nearly enough of.
I hope you enjoy looking at these lovely photos captured by Michelle Sturza at SmmS Photography. At the end, I also list the many incredible vendors who participated in the shoot so that you can learn more about their work, as well!
